Our members meet every fortnight to discuss issues such as accessing healthcare, experiences of discrimination and racism, and housing issues. The sisters often share how these struggles impact their mental health. These sessions provide a space where our members feel comfortable and safe. In response to the issues, stories and feedback shared in these meetings, we organise vital sessions that address gaps in knowledge or just peer support for all our members. These meetings can be held either in person or online. The outcome of this meeting is the Mental Health Support Project. We meet at Kinning Park Complex aria-label=”opens in a new tab” every fortnight to share information, skills and experiences.
